This weekend was full of fun fall flying in St Louis and Bloomington. We attended the Great Forrest Park Balloon Race in St Louis.  This 43rd annual event included about 50 balloons from across the country.  The weather did not cooperate on Friday evening but Saturday was beautiful. Forrest Park (1,300+ acres) was the site of the 1904 Worlds Fair and continues to be a favorite place for the people of St Louis to gather. 150,000 people were in the park to see the balloons over the two days.

Sunday we made our way back to Bloomington for some passenger flights over Monroe County.  The leaves are starting to turn and the sky could not have been a brighter blue.  We landed at the home of some good friends which always make the sport more fun.
